The warm street lights cut through the icy air, making bumpy paths around the streets and leading up to the clock tower. It wasn't even that far of a walk. There weren't many people out, but most of the folk that walked the streets were catfolk, much like Box and his butlers.
Sure enough, there were plenty of stores along the roads leading up to the tower, although many of them were closing at this hour. The closest open one was some kind of utility shop, "Red Toolbox", which had a lot of useful looking gadgets in the window.
